Okay folks…as you may be aware, we have among us a high school junior who is ROCKING THE WORLD…. SVBC member Harrison Naftel is building an outdoor shelter on the Western Slope of Massanutten as his Eagle Project, for us and all our friends (with trail passes of course*) to use FOR DECADES TO COME.
Massanutten is donating trusses to the project (thank you Massanutten!), but Harrison still needs $1000 for supplies (concrete, gravel, roofing material, etc.). And now….
An anonymous long-time SVBC member has pledged to MATCH ALL FUNDS DONATED TO THIS PROJECT, dollar for dollar.
Anonymous, motivated by his/her adoration of the Western Slope, and as a gesture of thanks for the natural gift, Massanutten’s generosity, the Coalition’s work, and the fellowship gained during trailwork and on group rides, will DOUBLE your donation. No joke. (Your money has not been this valuable since 1987!)
