One of the great fall events is just around the corner. The Alpine Loop Gran Fondo is approaching quickly and there is a ride option for nearly everyone. Whether you want to ride 36, 62, 78, 100, or 107 miles, whether you want to ride over mountains or remain in the valley, ride dirt roads or stick to pavement, there is something for everyone. The SVBC runs the Brothers Craft Brewing Beer Garden at the Fondo and all beer proceeds remain with the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition. In return, the SVBC runs the beer garden with volunteers. WE NEED YOUR HELP in the BEER Garden on Sunday September 25. We will need a total of 14 volunteers for various shifts.
As a fundraiser, the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition will host the Brothers Craft Brewing Beer Garden at the finish line of the Alpine Loop Gran Fondo cycling event. We need members of the SVBC to serve as helpers to assist with setup and execution of the beer garden: setup, checking IDs, selling/collecting drink tickets, pouring beers.
