We know you want to spend Columbus weekend with the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition at the Stokesville Campground for the 20th Annual Shenandoah Mountain Bike Festival. Well you are in luck, although pre-registration is closed, you can register on-site. We will accept all forms of payment this year so come on out and help us celebrate another amazing year of mountain biking and trail building.
Festival Registrants Need to Know
- Raffle: To raise money to help improve our trails in the GW. Bring your generosity and check out our prize packages. The SVBC has been busy busy busy improving your local trails Read More about our biggest year of trail building 2016.
- Trail Work: This year we will hold trail work on SATURDAY only. Work will be on the Trimble Mountain trail, sometimes known as “Boyscout”
- Group Rides: View the schedule and /" target="_blank" rel="noopener">contact Sue George if you can help lead a ride. We still need a few more ride leaders.
- Weather: We will be there rain or shine. Trail work will be rain or shine. Most rides will be rain or shine. We hope you will be also!
- Utensils and Cups: Plates will be handed out when you register, we have silverware, bring your own cups (drinking vessels).
- Please Sign our Waiver: If you haven’t already, you were supposed to do it when you registered- Click Here for Festival Waiver
- RV Sites: Some camp sites have been rented specifically for RVs if there are signs up please leave these for the RV crowd who reserved them.
- Bring your Friends: We will have on-site registration open and we always want a bigger party.
- Skills Clinic: TakeAim Cycling is donating two “Hour to Empower” mountain bike clinics on Saturday of the festival. Riders of all experience levels are encouraged to join to discover techniques for riding more comfortably in a fun learning environment. The first clinic will show you ways to get your wheels off the ground with less effort for managing terrain and in preparation for future logovers. The second clinic will be about pumping
