10606511_10152216174055766_6140754762450694572_nAs part of our ongoing 2nd and 4th Friday of the month “Social Rides” A number of fine SVBC members have organized a bi-monthly, casual around-town bicycle ride. This ride is  typically less than 4 miles through neighborhoods in the city of Harrisonburg. The pace will be very casual and conversational, similar to that of the Bike Month Ice Cream Rides. Everyone and anyone is welcome. Helmets are required.

For August 22, the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition teamed up with our downtown grocery store, the Friendly City Food Co-op for a family friendly casual bike ride around town. Why melons? Well the Friendly City Food Co-op will provide melons for your eating pleasure after the ride.
