Wyse Cycles was a mobile shop that went live in April 2009.
Using a trailer to carry tools and parts, I visited customers’ homes, workplaces, or campuses to repair bicycles. I eventually had a shop space in my basement, which allowed me to do more comprehensive repairs and carry a broader inventory of parts. While I worked on many different styles of bikes, my goal was always to support and promote the idea of riding bikes for local transportation.
Over the subsequent 15 years, I enjoyed working with many customers and making new friends through my business. I want to thank everyone who supported me and Wyse Cycles.
As of May 2024, I have closed the door on Wyse Cycles and accepted a full-time position with the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition. My primary work will be coordinating the Bikes for Neighbors program. While I no longer run my own business, I am still working to equip and support folks who need bikes for local transportation.
