6P – 8P
The Visualite Theater, 12 N August St, Staunton VA

This free screening of “The Street Project” at the Visualite Theatre, reminds us why creating safer streets for all of us – walkers, bike riders, and drivers – is a must.

Created by an Emmy-winning team, The Street Project uses an uplifting narrative from cycling-friendly meccas in Europe, to New York City and Phoenix, Arizona – one of the most dangerous cities in America for pedestrians – for a deep dive into how America views our streets and how they can be made safer.

The Street Project looks at how we got here, what makes street design effective, how the automobile changed how we use our streets, victim blaming, the impact of zoning laws on street transportation, and much more.
