Big thanks to those who made it out to help clear trail on the Big Bald Knob section of the Wild Oak Trail. The volunteer work hours on this trail count towards the SVBC’s most recent trail improvement grants that will go towards continued improvement of the shared-use trails in the North River District of the George Washington National Forest. Remember, your volunteer labor time is worth $23 an hour so stay tuned for more ways that you can help the SVBC raise matching funds through volunteer labor. The trail work was also just in time for the Wild Oak Trail Run. If you need to ask then maybe you just don’t get it.
