Bike Parade
Kickoff Bike Month 2013 in proper First Fridays style on May 3 in Downtown Harrisonburg!
Grab your favorite costume and get on your bike for the Costume Bike Parade, a slow, safe, family friendly cruise around downtown to celebrate cycling in Harrisonburg. The parade will be leaving from Turner Pavilion at 6:30PM and finishing at Court Square Theater around 7:00pm.
Immediately following the parade, at 7:15 we’ll be premiering the documentary Single Track High at Court Square Theater. This film documents the NORCAL high school mountain bike league. The premiere is FREE!

After that, check out the Adventure Seen Cycling Film Festival at 8:30! This event is free for SVBC members and $5 for any non-club members. A variety of amazing cycling related short films will be played.
New Belgium Brewing Company has sponsored this event. 100% of the New Belgium Beer sales will be 50/50 split between the Arts Council of the Valley and the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition!
