Tillman Trails Project

The Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition was awarded a Virginia Recreational Trails Program Grant in October 2019 from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation with funding from the Federal Highways Administration.
Project Purpose
The purpose of the project is to realign a portion of an existing unsustainable trail (Narrowback #432) to provide connectivity to existing parking, enhance the user experience, and create a sustainable trail alignment.
Location
The project is located on the George Washington National Forest 17 miles southwest of the center of Harrisonburg, Virginia in the North River Ranger District. The northern terminus for the project is the Wolf Ridge Parking Lot on Tillman Road in Rockingham County.
