Join us for the oldest bicycle event in the Shenandoah Valley!

Overview

The 42nd annual Shenandoah Valley Century (multiple length options!) will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Oakdale Park in Bridgewater, Virginia. You should always plan on great people, beautiful roads, lovely weather, and good food!

Join us for the oldest bicycle event in the Shenandoah Valley! The Century serves as a fundraiser for the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition and supports our work to build better communities in the Valley.

Participants will receive cue sheets, and rest stops will be complete with food, drink, and smiling volunteers. All turns on the course will be marked, and bicycle maintenance will be available at the start and rest stops. We will have a sag car on course if you need extra help.

Lola's DelicatessenFamily Ride Participants will be greeted back at the park with ice cream from Branch’s. Ice cream will be available for purchase for everyone else.

A complimentary post-ride lunch will be provided for all other registered riders, with various sandwiches from Lola’s Delicatessen in Downtown Harrisonburg.

T-Shirts are available as part of registration. They will NOT be available at the event but will be pre-order ONLY.

Start Times

  • 8am – 75 & 100-mile ride starts
  • 9am – 25 & 50-mile ride starts
  • 10am – Family Ride (5 miles)

All routes are subject to changes leading up to the event we will email out the most up-to-date courses to all registered participants prior to the event. Expect minor updates for 2024 route.
