Join us for the Great Community Give! This exciting one-day, online giving event was started by The Community Foundation to inspire philanthropy in our community through charitable donations. We are thrilled to be one of nearly 150 charities participating that day.
At the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition, we’re on a mission to build better communities by connecting people to trails, each other, and the places they love—whether by bike, foot, or pure momentum. Together, we’re reclaiming streets, building trails, and making the Valley more walkable, bikeable, and accessible for everyone.
With your support during the Great Community Give, we can continue creating public spaces where people—not just cars—come first.

Thanks to Lauf Cycles, once we hit 150 donations, the Coalition will receive an additional $8,000 during the Great Community Give! Your donation, combined with the additional $8,000, goes right into our region – expanding trails, improving walking and biking, and creating a livable community that we cherish.

Thanks to generous business partners, we will have TWO power hours this year. Join us from 6 to 8 a.m. to double your donation, as it will be matched by Blue Pallet Events up to $3,000. We will also compete for bonus prize money from The Community Foundation. The more donors who give during that hour, the better our shot at winning extra funds for trails, safe streets, and people-first places!

The second of our power hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m., when you get another chance to double your donation! This time, Bedrock Sandals will match $3,000, and Cognative MTB will match $1,000! We get a second chance to compete for bonus prize money from The Community Foundation.
