Confident City Cycling Flyer 2013-04

The next Confident City Cycling (aka Traffic Skills 101) class will be held in Harrisonburg on April 26 and April 27 and will cover laws affecting bicyclists, the importance of visibility and predictability, lane positioning, intersection safety, interacting with pedestrians, trail etiquette, bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills, crash avoidance techniques, basic bicycling gear, and much more!

Last fall, we had 9 students take this course, with varying levels of experience. Some had ridden 40-65 miles in one day in the last 12 months and many told us they had ridden 0-2 miles in one day in the last 12 months. Everyone had a great time taking the class and participated in the group ride around Harrisonburg.
