🛠️ Trail Work Champions
- Thomas Jenkins: A founding force in our Coalition, Thomas has spent 25+ years building trails, advocating for better biking, and spreading contagious volunteer energy. From the Bluestone Trail to the Massanutten Western Slope, his work touches every corner of our community.
- Brian Wright & Dana Lehman: Trail-blazing heroes who help keep our public lands and local trails clear, accessible, and loved.
- Karl Waizecker: The steady leader of our Thursday night dig days, Karl’s calm and tireless efforts have shaped the Western Slope.
- Alan Dyer & Andrew Barnes: Rock wizards and dig day regulars, their dedication keeps our trails in top shape.
🏞️ Western Slope + Skills Kitchen Champions
Clint and Anderson Depoy pour hours of effort (and their own equipment!) into maintaining the Western Slope Skills Kitchen. Their work keeps this gem open for riders of all skill levels to enjoy.
🚲 Youth Advocates
- ShenRock Coaches: From head coaches like Demetra Heckman and Paul Johnson to the entire coaching team, their passion and time inspire the next generation of mountain bikers.
- Harriet Flynn: An unstoppable partner who teaches kids to ride and increases outdoor access through her Community Gear Library.
💪 Trail Women Community Builders
- Terri Sexton: The warm, welcoming energy behind the Monday Night Women’s Mountain Bike Ride, growing a vibrant and inclusive trail community.
- Kyla Antonelli: A whirlwind of joy and enthusiasm, Kyla has quickly become a cornerstone of our rides and dig days.
✨ Masters of Trail Magic
Harlan Price keeps backcountry trails clear, Adam Ritter lends his rock wizardry to improve trails, and Charles Sexton energizes the Western Slope as an ambassador and volunteer leader for its 2025 growth plans.

- Dwayne Jones: Waynesboro’s Parks and Rec leader, trail advocate, and Blue Ridge Tunnel champion, Dwayne’s vision is shaping outdoor access across the Valley.
