Seeking Bids from Experienced Trail Contractors
The Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) is seeking bids from experienced trail contractors for backcountry trail maintenance and trail construction on non-motorized shared-use trails in the North River Ranger District of the George Washington National Forest. There are multiple work sites included in this project and are located just west of Bridgewater, Virginia.
There is a mandatory pre bid meeting and site visit tentatively scheduled for Dec 11th, 2015. If you would like a bid package or more information please send an email to . The project funding is provided by the Federal Department of Highway Administration’s Recreational Trails Program via the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. The Recreation Trails Program is funded by gas tax receipts from off-highway vehicles.
