The ShenRock Bike Team will officially start practice on 08/04/2015 at Massanutten’s Western Slope. Practices will start at 5:30 and be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at various locations around Harrisonburg an Rockingham County. The team will consist of Girls and Boys from Middle through High School age.

We are quickly approaching the start of our NICA Fall racing season and will begin our weekly practices soon! Below are a few pieces of information to help get things going along with some items that you will need to address on your own:
- Practices will start the first week of August and be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30PM. We will continue practices thru out the Fall season. Most practices will be held at the Massanutten western slopes however may also be held at other locations. Mike Bowen will be coordinating the weekly practices and ride leaders and will send out regular reminders of locations.
- If you were raced last fall in the NICA league you need to return to the NICA PIT ZONE and re-register and pay your NICA dues for this season.
- If you are new to the team and have not registered yet please let me know as I need to send you an “Invitation” to join the team from the NICA website.
- Since the majority of practices will take place at Massanutten the following will need to be done before you can participate in our practices held there.
- If you are not an SVBC member you will need to join ($15 individual/$30 family) https://svbcoalition.org/join-renew/
- You must fill out a Massanutten waiver https://www.smartwaiver.com/w/53c551ad46e77/
- Riders must do 8 hours of volunteer trail work or pay $50 (per year) for a Massanutten Trail Pass

$25 NICA Member Fee
$22 background check fee
Coaches/Ride Leaders all need to do the following:
- NICA Background Check
2. Agreement to Participate Wavier
3. Paid $25 annual coach fee.
4. CDC Heads Up Concussion Training.
