Just across the border into West Virginia this weekend is a race you won’t want to miss: The Lost River Classic, on Saturday, July 20th. Featuring a 10 mile loop course with the sort of climbing all of those who ride from Harrisonburg know well, this is a great opportunity to race locally or to get your feet wet in the sport. You’ve been following the Tour; don’t you want to try it out for yourself? The Cat 5 beginner’s race is only 26 miles, and is a really great event for a first race. The roads are great, and the scenery is beautiful. Don’t miss this chance to race close to home.
