Women on Wheels (WOW) rides will start in Staunton after the time changes. The Saturday before, League of American Bicyclists-certified instructors will teach a 4-hour class for ladies only on riding confidently in groups and traffic. We’ll cover safety checks and flat-fixing, bike handling, and defensive maneuvers. All skill levels are welcome and will find the course beneficial. A bicycle in good working order and a helmet are required. Ages 14 and up; students 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult who is taking the course. We’ll meet at Black Dog Bikes on Lewis Street in downtown Staunton, time to be decided. For more information, to register, and to express a preference as to time, email [email protected]
