Shenandoah Bicycle Company’s Friday Fatty Mountain Bike Ride
Jul 20 @ 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
***This is NOT a Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition Ride. This is hosted by the bicycle shop, Shenandoah Bicycle Company***

Description:  A group mountain bike ride that explores the inner depths of the George Washington National Forest
Length: 3-4 hour ride on backcountry trails of intermediate to advanced terrain. Expect 30-45 minutes drive time each way to/from the ride’s start.
Location: Varies each week. We’ll try to make the selection by Thursday every week, but the location is subject to change at the last minute to accommodate current weather and trail conditions.
Logistics: Leave (drive/carpool) from Shenandoah Bicycle Company. For those catching a lift with others to/from the ride’s start, leave your car in the municipal lot (free parking) by the Turner Pavilion. Then just walk over to SBC with your bike and gear, and we’ll load up there.

Massanutten Trail Work
Jul 21 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Facebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1743908012337961/

What: Massanutten Saturday Morning trail work to happen bi-weekly on Saturday’s through the spring and summer.

Where: Massanutten Western Slope Trails built by the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition. We will be working on the Boundary Trail, the newest trail that connects VA 54 up to the pond.

When: Saturday, April 14 arrive at 8:50 for a 9 am start.

Why: Our volunteers built an amazing new trail yet again in 2017. As with all great things, it needs a little more love to make it even better. We will be working on patching some wet spots in an effort to make the trail more durable in all weather conditions.

Details: Western Slope trail work parties are held every other Saturday through the end of October! Bring water and sturdy boots/shoes. We’ll provide tools, gloves, etc. Hope to see you there!
